Multimedia journalist specialising in International relations

About me

In today’s complex world of international relations, a journalist cannot afford to skim the surface. I have always been driven by a desire to understand the forces shaping our societies and to translate them into stories that matter. After earning my bachelor’s degree in Journalism, where I worked in fast-paced editorial environments and spent time on assignments in the field, I decided to strengthen my academic foundation by pursuing a master’s degree in International Relations and History. This combination allows me to approach global issues with both an analytical and a narrative lens.

I consider myself a pragmatic yet creative professional who values clarity, accuracy, and impact over empty rhetoric. My journalistic work has taught me to cut through noise, verify facts, and bring human stories to the forefront, while my academic studies deepen my understanding of conflict, diplomacy, and the long-term patterns that shape today’s headlines.

Having worked in a variety of professional and team-based settings, I am comfortable navigating deadlines, collaborating across disciplines, and adapting to new challenges. My interests lie particularly in reporting on international affairs, peacebuilding, and the role of media in conflict zones. I am motivated by the conviction that journalism can inform, challenge, and contribute to a more nuanced understanding of our world.
